After a six-year hiatus, the Honda CBR600RR Supersport has made a much-anticipated comeback at the EICMA 2023.

This return marks an exciting moment for the brand, reintroducing one of its most iconic models to the European market.

The motorcycle’s absence was felt by enthusiasts, but Honda has ensured that the CBR600RR returns with a significant update in style, features, and hardware, ready to captivate a new generation of riders and it will be particularly available in the UK for 2024.

The 2024 CBR600RR sports will come with a new fairing with aerodynamic winglets, meticulously designed to improve both straight-line and cornering stability. 

Honda enhanced aerodynamics are the slim twin-pod LED headlamps with a central air intake, giving the bike a more aggressive look. 

Notably, Honda has chosen to retain the iconic under-tail exhaust canister, a distinctive design element that sets the CBR600RR apart from its contemporaries.

Under the hood, the CBR600RR is powered by a 599cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine. 

This engine will be capable of delivering an impressive 119bhp at 14,250rpm and 63 Nm of peak torque at 11,500rpm. 

It maintains a 599 cc displacement, ensuring compliance with Euro 5 standards through updates such as a new intake system, throttle-by-wire control, and updated valve timing.

These enhancements not only boost performance but also conform to stringent environmental regulations.

The motorcycle features a state-of-the-art 6-axis IMU-based electronics package inherited from the CBR1000RR.

The motorcycle will come with three preset ride modes plus two custom user modes, five power levels, a nine-level traction control system with slip rate control, cornering ABS, engine braking management, and wheelie control. 

Suspension duties are catered to by 41 mm upside-down forks at the front and Honda’s Pro-link mono-shock at the rear, both fully adjustable.

The CBR600RR also employs radially-mounted four-piston calipers gripping 310 mm discs at the front and a single 220 mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear for responsive and effective braking.

Further enhancing its appeal, the CBR600RR includes a full-color TFT display and Dunlop Roadsports2 tires.

Available in two color schemes HRC Grand Prix Red and Matt Ballistic Black Metallic it caters to a wide range of aesthetic preferences.
