Honda has officially revealed the 2024 CB500F at the EICMA 2023, enhancing its middleweight motorcycle lineup.
The very first thing which is upgraded in Honda CB500F is the name of the bike which Honda has now introduced with new name Honda CB500 Hornet.
The new model showcases a blend of futuristic design and muscular aesthetics, particularly evident in its single-piece headlight design.
The headlight features a centrally positioned LED unit surrounded by a daytime running light (DRL) on the periphery, adding to the bike’s visual appeal.
The Honda CB500 Hornet will be available with a 471cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, capable of delivering around 48 hp and 43 Nm. It also features a six-speed gearbox and offers an optional quickshifter.
For enhanced riding dynamics, the bike is equipped with Showa 41 mm SFF-BP USD front forks and a preload adjustable rear shock.
The braking system comprises dual 296 mm front and a single 240 mm rear disc, supporting 17 inch alloy wheels with 120/70 front and 160/60 rear tyres.
In terms of features, the CB500 Hornet doesn’t disappoint. It boasts all LED illumination, a five inch TFT display providing essential information like speedometer, odometer, trip meter, and fuel level readout.
Furthermore, the bike offers smartphone connectivity with navigation, enhancing the rider’s experience.
A noteworthy update for the 2024 model is the introduction of traction control, a tweak to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for improved response, and a new LED headlight.

The five-inch TFT screen, a significant feature addition, is operated by a handlebar-mounted and backlit toggle switch.
However, Honda has indicated that the 2024 CB500 Hornet is not likely to be launched in India and will remain exclusive to the international market.
