The Tornado Naked Twin 500
One of the standout models from Benelli at EICMA 2023 was the Tornado Naked Twin 500. This motorcycle caught the eyes of many with its radical design and innovative features.
The Tornado Naked Twin 500 sports an attention-grabbing front fascia, characterized by vertically stacked projector LEDs and boomerang-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). The design does away with the conventional plastic cowl, giving it a distinctive and bold look.

From the fuel tank to the tail, the bike exhibits a traditional street bike stance with sharp, muscular contours.
It is powered by a robust 500cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, capable of producing 47.6bhp and 46Nm of torque.
The motorcycle’s structure is based on a steel trellis frame, complemented by 17-inch alloy wheels.
It features a comprehensive suspension system with USD forks and a monoshock, and the braking system includes twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS.
Other notable features include a 14-litre fuel tank, a five-inch TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, and full-LED lighting.
The Tornado Naked Twin 500 is expected to hit international markets in the first half of 2024, although its launch in India remains uncertain.
The TNT 125
Another highlight from Benelli’s 2024 lineup, is a sporty-style single-cylinder naked bike.
It is powered by the same liquid-cooled engine found in the smallest Leoncino model and is paired with a five-speed transmission.
The BN 125 is designed for efficiency and performance, featuring a 35mm upside front fork and a single-disc front end with a three-piston caliper.
Remarkably, Benelli claims an incredibly frugal fuel consumption of 1.7L/100km for the BN 125, which, combined with a 13.5-litre fuel tank, offers an impressive range.
Benelli’s Diverse Range and Future Prospects
Benelli’s presentation at EICMA 2023 showcased the brand’s ability to innovate and adapt to different market segments.
