Meanwhile this time the new model comes with more engine power which is a redesigned 1,350 cc LC8 V-Twin engine.
Apart from the name, it’s a 1350 cc unit, not 1390 cc, a detail that might puzzle some. The new engine features a bore increase to 110 mm, up from the previous 108 mm.
This improvement, coupled with KTM’s first variable cam timing system, will deliver a substantial power boost.
It offers 190 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and a torque of 106 lb-ft at 8,000 rpm, which is a significant improvement over the previous model.
The variable cam timing system, akin to BMW’s ShiftCam, offers two separate valve lifts based on the rpm range, which ensure more power and torque throughout the rev range.
KTM not only focuses on the engine but also upgrades the suspension to the latest generation of WP Semi-Active Technology (SAT), providing adjustable damping for both street comfort and track stiffness.
The design of the 1390 Super Duke R Evo 2024 is slimmer and more aggressive. The main part of the design is a new LED headlight that gives it a more alien-like look, and it is 700 grams lighter, supplemented by tank spoilers and winglets.
This bike is equipped with a six-axis IMU, which offers standard ride modes of Rain, Street, and Sport, as well as cornering ABS with supermoto mode and lean angle-sensitive traction control.
Other notable features are new colorways celebrating 30 years of the Duke brand, a new 5-inch TFT dashboard for easy navigation, KTMconnect Bluetooth connectivity, and an optional Tech Pack that includes Motor Slip Regulation, Quickshifter, Track Pack, and Suspension Pro.
